The DJ Firm wants to do what we can to still bring the party to your house during this time, offer you a chance to sit back, relax and vibe with us! We have had people from all over the place join us once a week as we come together through the power of music, and Twitch. Our first set we did a happy hour and took over Chi Thee Wed’s Instagram, we did a brunch set and teamed up with Chiboys, and you can catch us for Feel Good Tuesdays at 5pm and Friday nights we bring the club to your family room featuring; Bad Boy Fridays at 10pm. The Bridal Masterclass Experience
The Bridal Masterclass Experience essentially provides education for wedding vendors to grow their business through seminars and panels, hands-on workshops, social media coaching and networking. These events are two full days of seminars hosted by wedding industry professionals, hands-on workshops such as; styled shoots and an opportunity to network with other wedding industry experts and businesses. The best part is; all the vendors get to show off their talents, products and businesses to engaged couples and wedding parties on night two when they host a practice event. You can purchase tickets for one day or two and they are currently offering these classes in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and DC. The DJ Firm has attended and partnered with The Bridal Masterclass and it’s always a success. On Wednesday, April 15th they will be hosting a The Bridal Masterclass Experience with DJ’s on Instagram Live at 5pm, our own DJ Jem will be there! Tune in to see how DJs are staying connected through social media and still bringing the power of music to so many people during such an unprecedented time. 2020 Wedding Trends
As we enter a new decade, we have compiled a list of the top seven wedding trends to look-out for in 2020 and beyond.! Ideas for all types of weddings; trendy, budget-friendly and exciting to ensure your guests talk about your event for years to come.
1.) Micro Wedding; a micro wedding is a small celebration that typically includes inviting 20 guests or less and lasts only a few hours. This type of wedding allows for an intimate celebration with those closest to you, more space for budget friendly options and the chance to still make your small wedding as big as you’d like!

2.) Wedding Charity; getting married and paying it forward to charities that mean the most to you. Using your registry for charity instead of gifts, recognizing your favorite cause through your decor or choose charitable wedding favors.

3.) Live entertainment; although most weddings hire a DJ for the reception, live musicians are an amazing touch to cocktail hour, dinner or even to accompany your DJ. A live violinist or guitar player can create a special atmosphere or check out our DJ’s and dummer duos!

4.) Lighting; transform your wedding using just the lighting. Whether it’s twinkling lights, uplighting or a neon sign, lights can create a warm feeling or an epic Instagram worthy shot.

5.) Gender mixed wedding parties; it’s time to include all your besties in your wedding party and break out from the same gender norm!

6.) Self-serve snacks; donut walls, chocolate fountains, candy buffets, the possibilities are endless! Your guests will not remember the centerpieces, but they will remember the snack table that came out during the reception!

7.) Statement walls; if a photo booth isn’t in your budget, try a statement wall. This will still provide the perfect photo backdrop for singles, couples and groups! Use anything from greenery to balloons, from a simple sign to an array of colored fabrics. Get creative!
