  1. I was born in Boston. I’m originally from New York/New Jersey. I went to Drexel University in Philly and then moved to Chicago for The DJ Firm, but mostly to spend time with Sye Young.

  2. I met Sye Young in Cancun on spring break. I took his business card and then kicked him out of the DJ booth.

  3. I was an artist as a kid, but wanted to go into music instead.

  4. Juice by Lizzo is my shit right now.

  5. I know more about hip hop than Eric Sampson.

  6. I hate country music, but will play it if it’s required.

  7. My first DJ gig was family fun night at a gospel church.

  8. My worst DJ gig was in a utility cellar in a dusty basement of a Japanese restaurant, there was one light bulb hanging from the ceiling. They ran speakers from the basement to the restaurant, so I was by myself. I DJ’d for five hours and made $75.

  9. Now, I run a sister company called On Deck DJs.

  10. The name DJ Daily comes from my old roommates. My roommates never saw me because I was working all the time. They would say, you DJ every day, you’re like DJ Daily. It just stuck!

  11. I took French for 12 years, I can speak it a little bit.

  12. I was always the class clown in school.

  13. I played every sport, but I was terrible at everything except basketball.

  14. I hate tomatoes, but I love everything made from tomatoes.

  15. Lobster and pizza are my favorite foods, Paulie Gee’s is the best in Chicago and deep dish is trash.

  16. I’m addicted to sour candy and Call of Duty.

  17. I once went to a goldfish party. The tradition was you had to swallow a live goldfish while there and I did it.

  18. My favorite movie is Home Alone.

  19. Martinique was the best vacation I’ve ever been on and I DJ spring break every year on different islands.

  20. People say my catch phrase is, “follow your heart,” but you can also go follow @ondeckdjs!
